The best playgrounds on the Gold Coast - free, family fun!

Peninsula Playground – Broadwater Parklands
A Gold Coast classic and easily one of the most impressive playgrounds around.
Why kids love it: The star of the show is the huge four level spiral tower packed with interactive features like binoculars, telescopes, rope tunnels and even musical elements. There are also plenty of swings, slides, climbing structures and space to run around.
Why adults love it: It’s set right along the Broadwater, so you’ve got beautiful water views and walking paths while the kids play. There are shaded picnic areas, lots of parking and usually a coffee cart nearby which we feel is a playground necessity.

Greenheart Parklands – Robina
If your kids have endless energy, this is the place to take them.
Why kids love it: There’s so much to do here it almost feels like a mini adventure park. Think bike tracks, climbing walls, tunnel slides, balance beams, net bridges and even mini trampolines. There’s also a dedicated toddler zone for the little ones.
Why adults love it: The parklands are huge (over 22 hectares), which means lots of open space, walking paths and shaded areas to relax. There’s also an on-site café, so you can grab a coffee while the kids keep playing.

Schuster Park
A playground that is sure to please the big and little kids of the family.
Why kids love it: This park is full of climbing nets, tunnels, balance paths and two mega slides that are always a hit. There are also musical play features hidden along the sand paths, so the kids can explore while and make as much noise as their hearts desire.
Why adults love it: There are plenty of shady spots for relaxing while the kids play, and it’s a great park for picnics or kicking a ball around. Plus, it’s close to Tallebudgera Creek if you want to turn the playground stop into a creek swim and full day out.

Kurrawa All Abilities Playground
One of the closest parks to our Wow Stay properties, you can easily jump on the tram and head down if you don’t have a car.
Why kids love it: There’s a great mix of slides, climbing equipment and sensory play areas, plus accessible equipment so kids of all abilities can play together.
Why adults love it: You’re right in the heart of Broadbeach, which means cafes, restaurants and the beach are all just steps away. It’s a fun place to spend the morning with the family, or tire the kids out before heading to the famous Kurrawa surf club for dinner.
